Thanks for making the first step to sponsoring me!

 

I will be joing in the silverstone half marathon this year to raise money for Childrens Hospices UK on Sunday 14th March 2010. I ran this last year in 2 hours, 34 minutes and 43 seconds (to be precise!) and am hoping to beat that this year to set myself a new record.

I have proposed to my fellow trainee teachers that if I am sponsored over a certain amount I will let them choose some of my outfit :-S I will be wearing the charity running top and a pair of rainbow butterfly wings which is the charity's logo but so far have no plans for the rest of my outfit.....this is where you guys come in! If you have any suggestions of how you would like the outfit completed let me know and I am willing (within reason!) to wear it all in the name of charity and a good laugh.

I will of course have photos taken to prove I have completed it and will let you know details of checking my finish time (so you can check I havent fibbed!)

Training is difficult at the minute due to being at school most of the week and then working when i get home. I am determined to do you proud though and trying to cram in training so PLEASE sponsor me!

If everyone I know donated a few pounds it would quickly add up so maybe think about it this way.......if everyone bought one less chocolate bar or packet of crisps a week for 2 months that money could add up and be used in so many amazing ways to help children get the most out of their short time with their families and then provide the support for those affected once they have gone.
