BLESMA directly support servicemen and women who have lost limbs or the use of limbs during honourable service. This is a charity that has helped a close friend of the family over the years, and in return they have done a number of years voluntary work for BLESMA.

I can not imagine the struggles that servicemen/women have who have lost limbs or use of limbs while protecting our country. I have wanted to do a triathlon for a number of years, so I have decided to do Hever Castle Olympic Distance Triathlon in September as well as the Disney Marathon in January 2014 all in aid of BLESMA. These will be 2 tough challenges for me but I hope that by doing this I will be able to raise money for those who need it, as well as raising awareness of BLESMA and the work they do to everyone who visits my page.
