Strictly Best Foot Forward for Bury Hospice 2021 · 1 June 2021 to 4 December 2021 ·

Bury Hospice does 'Strictly come Dancing' as 32 contestants gear up for the dance challenge of their life. Each will spend 12 weeks learning new dances to be performed in front of a live audience.

Story

I've always supported local charities and businesses and when the opportunity arose to take part in Bury Hospice's Strictly Best Foot Forward, I jumped at the chance. I originally took part in 2017, when it first launched, but unfortunately a week before the event, I injured my foot. I participated on the night in a wheelchair as I couldn't let my hard work go to waste for such a wonderful event. However, I always felt that I had unfinished business so here I am again taking part in this fantastic event; raising money for such a wonderful cause and I couldn't be more proud to be a part of it again.

This year I will be dancing the Argentine Tango with my partner, Gareth. Rehearsals are already underway and we continue to make progress each week.

Please consider making a donation no matter how small as every penny helps.

It costs £2.9 million pounds to run Bury Hospice, and as a charity we have to raise over £2.3 million through community support. Every donation makes a difference.
