Many of you will know our friends and colleagues PC Fiona Bone and PC Nicola Hughes who sadly lost their lives whilst on duty on September 18th 2012.  Nicolas father Bryn has set up the PC NICOLA HUGHES MEMORIAL FUND  and has raised thousands of pounds for this charity.  I currently work on Nicola and Fionas shift on C relief at Hyde and feel like I can raise some money to assist Bryn in his quest.  My partner Karl Darlington shares many memories with Nicola as close colleagues and has already taken part in several charity events raising money for her.

On Saturday 11th October 2014 we will both step in the boxing ring at the Black E in Liverpool to stand tow to toe with officers across 4 Policing forces GMP, MERSYSIDE,LANCASHIRE,CHESHIRE.  We aim to win however are looking forward to a fun and friendly event in memory of the girls.

Our only aim is to make them proud and in doing so raise money for a worthy cause along the way.  Every penny counts and we appreciate all the support many thanks
