Not many people know but I have been suffering from endometriosis for about 8 years now but I have only been diagnosed with having the disease for around 4 years. This is because Doctors refuse to recognise that endometriosis happens in teenagers and IS actually a common problem. If it was caught earlier I may not of had to have one operation already, as well as currently waiting on a second. 

By supporting Endometriosis UK it allows them to carry out research to try and find a cure for endometriosis and to support sufferers like me. 

Endometriosis UK are looking for signatures on their petition to make the Government create a National Strategy for endometriosis. If they are successful it will set quality standards for endometriosis care and set clear clinical pathways for patients.
