2020 would have marked the 12th year of our Midnight Memory Walk. Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to hold the event as we usually would. However, we are pleased to be able to continue to invite you to complete your own walk virtual walk.

Story

For the past 12 years the SAHS Midnight Memory Walk has seen hundreds of people take to the streets of Newry under the stars to complete a 6KM walk through Midnight in memory of their loved ones. Every year this event is greatly supported by the local community, and last year raised over £22,000, which enabled the Hospice to continue providing their much-needed service. Due to Covid-19 this event couldn't go ahead as normal, and instead walkers are encouraged to complete their own virtual walk to support SAHS. As I complete my walk, whether it be in the daytime or at night, the Hospice nurses and staff will be working too. Please consider sponsoring my virtual midnight memory walk this year by donating what you can to help support our local hospice when they need it most. Any amount donated will make a great difference. Your support will ensure that every single member of the Hospice team continue to make sure the patients and their families can make the most of every single day!
