Having a ballot place seems a rather privileged position to be in, for you can choose any charity to run for and the list of them is endless.

I was blessed to have a baby son last year who has been in good health and is my constant ray of sunshine- this last year has been a blast and I feel blessed every day. I am now very much aware of the love you have for your children and the thought of him hurting in any way is unbearable.

It is therefore so important to support charities such as GOSH to make sure the children and their families get the much needed support and care they need when they need it, as well as actively researching to ease and combat so many childhood illnesses. If my struggle of getting round 26.2 miles can raise some extra pennies to help the struggle that some kiddies and their family face every single day, then it is well worth it- I will run, jog, walk, crawl and hobble to the finish line if I have to!
