So please dig deep and donate now.

So guys here is my story...........................................................

As many of you will know I have been running my little socks off since the beginning of the year when my other half decided that it would be a good idea to run the London Marathon. Whilst out training with Rob I found that I could run 12 miles, which I never ever thought that I could so I decided to set my own lttle challenge and enter The London Royal Parks Half Marathon. This isn't just for personal sense of acheivement though. It also has sentimental value in remembering my nan and grandad who sadly passed away earlier this year.

I think that both my nan and grandad would both approve of the charity that I have chosen to run for, which is Independent age. It is a charity for older people to help keep them both physically and financially independent. I feel that charities for older people often get forgotten about and I think that it is so important that we can take care of the people that may be once looked after us or provided for us today.

So please make all of the time, sweat and bum ache worth while and help me to raise £250.

Thank you so much to everyone who has already made a donation. It has really touched me at how supportive and generous everyone has been and it has been a great motivator for my last weeks of training. I will let you all know how the big day goes so keep watch!
