Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

To help the GBR Deaf Badminton Team raise funds to enable them to attend and compete at the 6th Deaf European Badminton Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria 21st – 28th August 2010 (http://www.edso.eu/sports/badminton/index.php), they are going to embark on an epic quest to play badminton continuously for 24 hours (10am to 10am) on Sat 24th/Sun 25th July 2010.

Every penny raised will go towards funding the team as there is NO available funding from any Organisation or Government.  This is the first time the team has faced a funding crisis but they are determined not to let this get in their way of competing and winning medals, so please help them realise their dreams!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now :o)
