Thank you all so much for your sponsorship together with your wonderful online donations and a fundraising quiz and raffle we organised in march we have raised over £4,000 for INQUEST. The marathon is tomorrow and with your sponsorship and your messages you will all definitely help myself and Anna get through those last painful miles..Thank you all again Gemma and Anna xx
This year Anna Thwaites and Gemma Vine are running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 12 April 2015 in aid of INQUEST.
For those of you who do not know about the fantastic work of INQUEST, check out their website http://www.inquest.org.uk/. It is a small charity that punches above its weight working for truth, justice and accountability. It provides free advice to families, who have lost loved ones in custody or following police contact. It regularly conducts campaigns, policy work and research into deaths in custody. It is well respected for its specialist advice and knowledge in this field.
We both work very closely with this charity and we know how that the specialist work that INQUEST does is and has always been hard to fund, and the difficult external environment has made it even tougher for them.
Make running 26.2 miles a little easier for us by helping to raise much needed funds for this amazing charity, which is reliant on your donations. No matter how big or small your contribution it all counts and is greatly appreciated.
