Steve and I are raising money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Quite a few years ago Steve was involved in a serious accident on the family farm. The Air Ambulance was quick to get to him and after leaving the farm in Lacock, landed at Bath RUH within 3 minutes. Steve was then taken straight into theatre. Although after many more operations his foot needed to be amputated, there is no doubt that the Wiltshire Air Ambulance gave Steve the best chance they could by getting him to the help he needed so quickly.
In October 2012 we are climbing Mount Toubkal, the highest Atlas peak in Morocco. At over 4000m its going to be a great challange. We need to raise £3000 between us. We will be doing lots of fundraising thoughout the year to get us to this target. That £3000 will keep the Air Ambulance in the air for 2 lifesaving days.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance needs £700,000 each year to save peoples lives. On average they are called out 3 times each day. Steve's accident shows that it's impossible to know when you may need such a service so we must help this fantastic charity to keep going.
Please dig deep and lets raise lots of pennies!
