I consider many things in life an inspiration, modern engineering, performers of arts and craft, musicians, the Dalai Lama and Mahatma Ghandi. It comes as no surprise that the challenging things in life, that finds its way towards myself, is as inspirational as many of these things.

As the great Mahatma Ghandi once said: " Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from the indomitable will" with that I take as motivator in my pursuit of goals.

My little niece Méabh is very close to me and the charity that she is part of- 'Sound Friends' does a lot of work in helping deaf kids cope with the challenging tasks that lie before them, they help organise get togethers and days out that is hugely beneficial. It is with great delight that I am involved in helping this wonderful charity and I only hope that I can drum up the support from my family and friends near and far to raise a few pounds in support of me abseiling from the Europa hotel in Belfast!
