Most of you will know that I was diagnosed with Leukaemia as a child and have been under the care of Great Ormond street hospital ever since ensuring my long term health.

I feel very lucky as back in the late 70's, when I first started my treatments, survival was put at about 30%. Now as medicine & science have improved the survival rate is now about 90%. Thats still not good enough.

I have been involved with the charity for many years and have done different fundraisng events to raise money and awareness for the fantastic work Leukaemia & Lymphoma do in their aim to cure these cancers and rely totally on donations to do so.

This year I have decided to organise a golf day at Silvermere course in Cobham Surrey on 14th September then a football tournament on 13th October with all proceeds going to the charity.

If you are not taking part in either event but would still like to contribute this is the place to do so. All the money will be paid in through the just giving page.
