I will be running the London Marathon 25th April 2010 for CdLS (Cornelia de Lange Syndrome).

What is CdLS?

CdLS is a very rare genetic disorder that effects both physical and intellectual development of children. Its difficult to say how common the syndrome is but it is estimated to be between 1 in every 40,000 and 1 in every 100,000 babies born.

 

Why CdLS?

The reason I have chosen to raise money for CdLS, for those of you who don’t know, my sister Abby was diagnosed with The syndrome at the age of 9 so I have a very personal connection to the condition so I’m sure you can appreciate I am making it my goal to raise as much money as possible!

 

How can you help?

Easy… PLEASE, please sponsor me!  As I said I want to raise as much money as I can for a charity that is pretty much unknown and very important to me.  For further information on the website is www.cdls.org.uk
