Three Peaks Challenge · 28 August 2012

The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.

Story

Grant Payne Financial solutions  Beaumaris have taken on the 3 peaks challenge.

Paul Grant   and Mike Jones financial advisers from Beaumaris will start the challenge at 5 o’clock Friday afternoon at Ben Nevis , After climbing Scafell  pike in the early hours of Saturday morning they will arrive at Snowdon at mid day for the final climb . The Team hope to be off Snowdon by 5 o’clock Saturday afternoon.

In charge of logistics is Gary Wall , Gary is an ex Army outward bound instructor and has been monitoring the training.  Gary has no concerns about the fitness of the team but injury in the hours of darkness is always a worry , The right transport is a must and thankfully Dale Gough from Enterprise rent a car was only too happy to Help by providing a 4x4.

Dale said Enterprise are delighted to help with this challenge as we feel the Welsh Air Ambulance do a fantastic job and we wish all the best to Gary and the Team.

David and Karen from the White Lion Hotel in Beaumaris Kindly held a Hog Roast on bank holiday Sunday and as a result they raised over £200 to fund the petrol costs
