Story
Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for visiting my Just giving page in support of our annual charity golf day.
This will be our 8th year of hosting the golf day in memory of our son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend John Stewart. We set out to do something positive in John's memory, to raise some cash to support the wonderful Beatson Cancer Charity in Glasgow and to have some fun along the way.
John loved nothing more than a day out with family and friends and there really is no better way for us to honour his memory than by hosting this day each year.
So far we have raised a total of £25,660 for the Beatson which has been an incredible achievement in John's memory and this money will help many of the other people in Scotland receive the treatment they need.
This year we will look to pass the £30,000 bench mark which would be incredible.
We would just like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated in the past whether it be cash, prizes or just by participating in the day, it all helps. We have been completely overwhelmed by the generosity of people and businesses throughout this journey and want everyone to know just how grateful we are for your support.
The golf day will be held at Caldwell Golf Club on 2nd of September and then on to the Smugglers Inn Stewarton around 5pm for an evening raffle, auction and fun. We would welcome anyone who can to join us for this event.
