Team Petchey and helpers ran a stall at the North Stifford Village Fete on the 25th June and we raised nearly £450 so many thanks to all that came and helped us. Update you on Thursday as Mum and I are picking up a cheque for our share if the charity proceeds

Hi all

Welcome to the memory page for our beloved husband/Dad who passed away on Friday 11th February 2011 after a courageous battle against the dreadful disease of pancreatic cancer.All throughout his illness we never once heard him complain or moan about his lot and he was just as stoic and stubborn as he ever was (this will ring true with all that knew him!!!!)

Sleep well dear Dad and thankyou  for helping us to help others in trying to combat this terrible illness and I know my Dad would thankyou.

Many, many thanks to all who have donated so far. You all mean so much to us at this time and by helping us to help others you are helping to keep dads memory alive.

Fundraising update is that £255.00 was sent direct to the Undertakers - Many thanks for your kind donations for a fine man who would have appreciated it. New total do far is £2,735.00 Many thanks.

Many thanks to all who have donated and many things have happened. We have kindly been granted permission to have a stall at North Stifford Village Fete on Saturday 25th June - Many thanks to Maureen Quinn for arranging this - so please come along and give us your support - Hope the weather is good as Dad would have loved it!!!!!

 

Evening all,

Mum and I attended the North Stifford Village Hall last night, 20th July, to accept our share of proceeds from the Fete. To our amazement the cheque was for £1,200.00 and i'm happy to say that MacMillan Nurses and RNLI also received the same amount. Many thanks to the Committee and especially to Dads great friend Maureen Quinn.
