It is a sad fact that in this remote area four out of nine pregnancies will result in the death of either the mother or child. After the recent birth of my grandaughter it brought home the fact that had my daughter lived in this area of Tibet, she and her daughter may well have not survived. With this in mind I have set up this page to support  the development of a maternity clinic to help reduce mortality rates and provide basic health training.  Every donation will save lives.
