I have always wanted to take on a physical challenge for a good cause, so I thought it was about time I stepped up…

With a powerlifting competition already booked in for the 5th November, I will start the challenge on 6th November (the day before my Birthday!) meaning I will need to complete 3,000 push ups in 24 days, on top of my regular training.

Teenage Cancer Trust is an incredible cause, with every single donation making a difference. Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need – so no young person faces cancer alone. I can’t think of a cause more deserving of my efforts.
