Story
On 8th July I will take on Stage 8 of this years Tour de France, riding 148km from Pau to Bagneres du Luchon climbing iconic mountains of the Tourmalet (a continuous 19km climb) and the Peyresourde (around 12km of climbing) as well as two other less well known ones.
It's a massive physical undertaking that our team of 40 riders is attempting and we hope to raise more than £25,000 for our charities in total.
My personal charity is Prostate Cancer. So many men I know have developed this over the years but awareness is still poor, well, you know what men and health are like! So as well as finding new or better ways to treat the disease, Prostate Cancer tries to help men look for symptoms through nationwide links with men's groups.
