Story
What I am
doing to raise money for the RBL....
So, it will start with a 250 step climb to the top of the Guildford Cathedral
and then Abseil 160 feet down to the ground on the day that the Surrey Royal
British Legion launches their Poppy Appeal 2014. Check out the video below!!
Face your fears!
Chuck me out of an aeroplane from 10,000 feet with a parachute and I am in my
element. Stand me on top of a tall building and ask me to look over the edge,
my legs turn to jelly and I normally go a funny shade of grey, so this is
definitely a challenge for me!
The cause...
The Royal British Legion helps the whole Armed Forces community through
welfare, companionship and representation as well as being the Nation's
custodian of Remembrance.
have a look around their website and you will see in detail what a great
cause this is and where the money that we raise will go...

Abseil event at Guildford Cathedral starting at 09.30 am on the 24th October
2014.
Surrey RBL are holding their Poppy launch 2014 on
the same day and in the evening have a Laser Image show on the Cathedral with
entertainment from The Three Belles, massed cadet bands and a mass ride to the Cathedral

Donations...
Along with my colleagues, we have all been clubbing together to find ways to
raise funds for this great cause, so anything you can contribute would be
greatly appreciated.
Please remember to tick the gift aid box when donating if you are a UK tax
payer.
Thank you!
