Story

I was fortunate enough to play with Steve at Hull F.C, he was a great character to have around the place and his attitude was first class.

When Steve found out about his cancer as always his attitude was "I'll beat this" and he did !!! Along the way despite being seriously ill he took on so many challenges and succeeded in every one. What a bloke.

Steve was going to help me set up my own foundation "The Isaac Carvell Foundation" but unfortunately we never managed to have that meeting.

I thought I'd take on Mount Kilimanjaro in Steve' memory and raise funds for his charity while also raising the awareness of my own charity.

It'll be a massive challenge but nothing compared to the  challenge Steve and his family have faced.

Thank you

About the charity

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.
