Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Jennifer and Alex's Uncle (my BIL) has been diagnosed with Parkinson's - some days are good, some not so good. Research is advancing at a pace, but we need to help push it along.

To raise awareness and hopefully some dosh in the process, Jennifer and Alex have promised to run 62.2 km wearing Parkinson's Research t-shirts - as long as they can deligate some of the distance to mum and dad, which basically means they run 5k each, Helen 10k and I gets to do the rest. This will happen at the Bournemouth Marathon Festival, 1-2 Oct.

We'll aim to share the event on Instagram as it unfolds at madfoolrunning so please keep an eye on that and if you can encourage the team to do their share by contributing to the sponsorship it will be greatly appreciated.
