Story
My girlfriends 11 year old daughter is aiming to complete 300,000 steps in march to raise money for her mums chosen charity Maggies Centre Clatterbridge
My mum was diagnosed with Bowel cancer in October 2021, this news turned my mums and our world upside down! My mum visited Maggies centre and spoke with some of the visitors and staff and this really helped her understand what was going on and what may lie ahead. My mum has had an operation to remove the cancer from her bowel and spent 4 weeks in hospital recovering, whilst having a stoma bag fitted, which we know as Suzie, through her recovery she has again visited Maggies centre clatterbridge and joined in different sessions or activity’s, yoga and relaxation this is really helping my mum in her recovery, all of these sessions are put on for free so I want to help raise money for them to help them with the brilliant work that they do not just for my mum but for all cancer patients and their families. If you could help me by sponsoring me on this challenge I and many others would be very grateful thank you
