Story
Aaron (12) and James (8) chose to join in #maxsbigcampout. They joined in a garden sleepout to celebrate Max's 365th night under canvas. Max is a boy from Devon who camped out in his garden for a year to raise money for charity. 'I wanted to keep sleeping out because I wanted to raise money for CHAT so everyone could have a fair life' said James.
CHAT run the local foodbank; provide debt counselling; and housing support. At the moment their use is increasing as more people need their help.
James is planning to continue camping out for a month.
Gail aka Mum decided to set herself a challenge too. She plans to run the distance to Guernsey (100 miles) by the time Guernsey hopes to open it's borders. 'Jogging has been helpful over the lockdowns, but they have been sporadic 5km runs, so now I will have to run more regularly and further. I have chosen the distance to Guernsey as that was where we were due to go on holiday last summer.' she said.
