Story

I'm taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon for JDRF!

As a Type 1 diabetic since the age of 10, I've been closely involved with JDRF - from helping advocate for increased accessibility to diabetes technologies, to supporting their fundraising efforts that goes towards developing important life changing research. I've seen first hand the impact that the chronic illness, often ‘invisible’ to the public, can have on day-to-day life.

500 people living with T1 diabetes die prematurely every week in England and Wales, with many of these deaths being caused by avoidable complications. I hope that my fundraising can be a small part of changing this reality. Please do donate to support the cause - I'm not a natural runner but will be training hard and doing everything possible to make it to the finish line!
