Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Janet and I are taking part in the Acorn Amble to complete a personal challenge (walking 22 miles!) whilst raising funds for the lovely charity, Issabelle’s Appeal. Issabelle died in 2012 aged 7, of neuroblastoma. Set up by Issabelle’s mum Wendy and dad Andrew, the charity grants wishes for seriously ill children, and it is very close to my heart. My daughter Alex died in 1997 aged 5, also of neuroblastoma. This year it will be 22 years without her - so it’s 22 miles for 22 years. Issabelle and Alex should be here to do the walk with us but instead we will walk in their memory.
