The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust are monitoring gamebirds, farmland and woodland birds as part of our Rotherfield Demonstration Project research.
A wide range of farmland birds such as the Grey Partridge, House Sparrow, Yellowhammer and Skylark have suffered dramatic declines over the past decades as most people already know. Less well known is how we can reverse these declines.
The Rotherfield Project demonstrates how this can be achieved in an area that is relevant to large parts of the UK and even across other parts of Europe.
£6500 annually allows us to gather and analyse the all-important evidence that our wildlife recovery at Rotherfield actually works.
