2019 is a very big year for us .... we both turn 70 and celebrate 50 years of marriage.  Gerry has had 20 years of support from the Solent MS Therapy Centre and we both thought that raising some money for them would be a good way of marking these milestones.

Gerry, although still mobile, is enjoying the benefits of his mobility scooter for longer 'walks' and Edith tries to keep up pace alongside.  Therefore we've decided to complete a marathon ... that's 26 miles ... which may have to be done in two halves because of Gerry's batteries and Edith's knees. But it will be done.

Tom & Lori will be running 10 miles in The Great South Run on 20th October and we'll be there to cheer them on. Lori not only running the GSR but will be having a ‘warm up’ by running her first Ealing Half Marathon.

Matt & Gemma will be scaling the 5360ft of Snowdon in May.

Five year-old granddaughter Amelia will be a winner, walking the three miles round the outside of Pontefract Racecourse with her friends. Because the weather was so hot Amelia and her friend Emily swam 100m in the local pool instead. Well done. Amelia visited the MS  Therapy Centre to see her grandpa in the chamber.

William (living in Thailand) will be swimming 70 miles from Pattaya to Bangkok (in a local swimming pool!)
