The aircrew are running the Birmingham half marathon in fire retardant flight suits carrying two medical bags weighing over 70 pounds collectively.

Midlands Air ambulance operates three helicopters covering an area the size of Austria with a population of. Over 5.5 million people! 

The skills delivered by the  helicopter paramedics and doctors are world class and benefit the most seriously injured and sick patients everyday.
