Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

"Autism steals your child's soul". I couldn’t agree more.

My sons Jayden and DeAndre aged 7 and 4 have been diagnosed with Autism. They each have very different challenges...

Deandre is nonverbal and has social and communication difficulty. His daily life isn't without challenges.  He can't follow multi-step directions easily, he does not process language as well as his peers, he slips into his own world multiple times a day and gets very fixated on things easily. The professionals say he has a lot of potential but needs the support to get it out.

Jayden is a lovely little boy who is verbal but still struggles daily with social interaction and understand the world around him.

Every day is a struggle, all I’ve hoped and envisaged for them to become in the future is nothing but a dream now. but with your help I can keep hope alive and will be able to afford this therapy for both of them.

I am not trying to fix what isn’t broken, I’m only trying to help them become aware and involved in the world around them.

I’ve been told about ABA therapy and was advised that it would be the best thing I could do for them. (Applied Behaviour Analysis) is a therapy which could help with talking and coping with everyday life

I have come to the £20,000 annual figure by calculating needed hours for ABA and respite out-of-pocket expenses, based on current hourly rates.

I have never believed more in the saying EVERY LITTLE HELPS than as I write this.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart and God bless you!
