Story
In normal times, Frome College students and their guests would be getting ready to showcase their diverse musical talents across three stages at the Cheese and Grain, in a spectacular cabaret-style programme of pop, jazz, acoustic, classical, choral, percussion and electronic music – a unique school concert and inspirational community event featuring the remarkable youth of Frome.
The show will go on! Despite most students being out of school, the tenth anniversary of this event will go ahead as a virtual concert on the Frome College Facebook page. Performers are recording videos which will be linked into a continuous live stream to be broadcast on Tuesday 14 July @ 7.30pm, the day the event would have taken place at the Cheese and Grain.
“We Hear You (WHY) provide professional counselling to anyone who is affected by, or bereaved by cancer or other life threatening conditions. The charity has been supporting students at Frome College for a number of years and we greatly appreciate their input. They have really helped some students through very difficult and traumatic times, and are continuing to support a number of our young people on a weekly basis – either via Zoom, or by telephone. Their support to our school will be even more important as we go forward through this unusual and anxious time.” - Andrew Tugwell, Frome College CP Lead
