Saturday the 27th should have been our annual summer fete, which is always a wonderful event for everyone involved as well as being the main fundraiser for Friends of Yardley Hastings School.

Unfortunately due to the current restrictions the event cannot go ahead; however, the school are still very much in need of parental support and so we wanted to give you the opportunity to donate to FOYS ,in lieu of the actual event, should you wish to.

We totally understand that not everyone will be in the position to donate due to the various impacts this unusual time has or is having on your family, but if you can and would like to the school and the children will truly appreciate it.

Monies raised will help the school purchase extra resources for socially distanced teaching like extra sports equipment, more coloured pens and pencils, wipeable toys for the younger children.

Don't forget there are also other ways you can support FOYS including linking your Amazon account to FOYS creating an AmazonSmile account. Once complete Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of any eligible purchases directly to FOYS at no extra cost to you.  To activate make sure you have the latest version of the Amazon shopping app, within settings navigate to AmazonSmile, search for FOYS and start shopping to generate donations.
