Donating my locks to the Little Princess Trust! · 14 March 2015

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

I am cutting my hair short and donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust who provide real-hair wigs for young girls and boys across the UK and Ireland who have suffered hair loss through cancer treatment.

A real-hair wig for a child can cost up to £350 so I am taking this opportunity to also raise money for this charity who provide these wigs for free.

Hair loss, especially at a young age, can have a huge affect on a child's self esteem. With everything they're going through, being able to feel a little bit more like themselves makes a huge difference.

Please donate to this cause if you have any pennies to spare!
