I've been selected by Girlguiding LaSER to take part in an international expedition in summer 2021. I'll be travelling to Udaipur in India to take part in a service project for the local community. I will be travelling with a group of other girlguides and hopefully it will be great fun!

On the trip, we will be volunteering in a local school. We’ll be making a difference by teaching English, sharing our unique skills with the school staff, and helping to make repairs and renovations on the school. We will also be meeting with members of Girlguiding in India and taking time to explore the local area and immerse ourselves in the culture. There are lots of exciting things planned like yoga, “tuk tuk” rides, and even camping under the stars.

But, to take part is this amazing trip, I have to raise £2,800 which will go towards flights, accommodation, activities and preparation weekends. I will have to fundraise all these costs and doing this is part of the challenge of participating in an international expedition. Hopefully, you will be able to help me reach my goal so that I can help improve the opportunities for school children in Udaipur.
