We're off to Lapland!
Well, sort of... We're a pretty healthy bunch here at Freestyle. We all have our thing, between lunchtime running clubs, avid cyclers and record-breaking swimmers, we cover a lot of distance in one month. In November we actually accumulated over 716.99 km!
So we decided that we're going to put all of this effort to a good cause. Between all of us, we will aim to triple our distance and clock over 2000km in December.
2187.5km to be more precise.
Which happens to be the exact distance between the Freestyle Barns and Santa's home in Lapland.
We're raising money for a cause that is close to home: The Myton Hospice.
Last year they supported more than 1,800 people and their families, in three hospices, via patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
With the holidays approaching, time off and the weather getting cold and wet, this challenge only got harder. We bought a bike to help us add some km to the total while we're at work, and topped off with towels, Myton Hospice bunting and a Santa hat!
