Fred was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2007 and unfortunately lost his battle with this terrible disease on the 18th December 2021.

Throughout the years whilst Fred suffered and struggled with the loss of his memory there would always be times when his smile shone through giving us hope that things would change for the best.

He had a great love for people and animals but overall his main love was for his family.

He would like to be remembered as friendly person who would have helped anyone out. He was always the first one at the bar and will never be forgotten for his favourite saying " didn't I lend you a tenner ?"
