Virgin Money London Marathon 2020 in aid of Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service.

Story

I am very lucky to have been selected to run the London Marathon for an extraordinary charity.

Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service provide specialist respite, palliative and end-of-life care to families across Berkshire, South Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas, where one or more of the children has a life-limiting or life-threatening condition. The service operates from it's own purpose built, "home-from-home" children's hospice in Maidenhead; the first and only children's hospice in Berkshire. The Day Care facilities, such as the Sensory Room and Creative Learning zone, opened in June 2018. The charity continues to raise vital funds to ensure that their services are available for all families that need their support now and in the coming years.

I have never run a full Marathon before, so wish me luck.! Those that know me well, may be aware that I am a trustee of the charity. I want raise as much money as possible, so please give generously.
