I am running the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 27 May 2012 to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK.

My girlfriend's mum died in 1998 aged 51 from Bowel Cancer and unfortunately this meant I never got the chance to meet her and our wee girl Evie never got to meet her Granny.

Also, one of my ex work colleagues & friend was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer within the past couple of years.

I just hope any money I raise can help in some small way to beating this disease.
