Story

"Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet - the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway, against all your natural instincts, and letting go - falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph!"

This is exactly what I'm going to be doing on Saturday 11th August 2012, in order to raise money for Alzheimers Scotland in memory of my dad, Frank Strong.

Dad was diagnosed with Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome in July 2011, which is a form of Alzheimers. He was admitted to hosiptal in Feb 2012 but, unfortunately, he never recovered and sadly passed away on 10th May 2012, 2 days before the birth of his 2nd Grandson Max.

I know everyone is skint, but every little bit really does help, so please if you can sponsor me anything at all, no matter how small it is, it would be greatly appreciated!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Much love and many thanks,

Frankie Xx
