Story
Pupils at Francis Holland School are raising money by doing a sponsored walk.
We walk around Regent’s Park as fast as we can, in fancy dress, on 30 September.
The whole school, including all the staff and pupils, walk for two hours around the park.
The school voted to raise money for Secondary1st, a charity suggested by a pupil, in memory of her mother.
When cancer cells in the breast spread to other parts of the body, it is called secondary (metastatic) breast cancer. These new tumours are made up of breast cancer cells. Secondary1st funds research projects to work on finding cures for secondary breast cancer. Most secondary cancers can be treated, but currently, there is no cure.
Further research, better awareness and treatment are critical.
