Team Cure Leukaemia will be turning Birmingham pink once again on Sunday 7th May 2023 taking part in the Great Birmingham Run & Birmingham 10k to raise vital funds for Cure Leukaemia.

Story

Sister and Brother, Francesca Smith - aged 9 and Malachi Smith - aged 7 are joining Team Cure Leukaemia for the CoRUNation on Sunday 7th May 2023 taking part in the Great Birmingham Junior and Fun Runs to raise vital funds for Cure Leukaemia.

Both love running and wanted to support Cure Leukaemia by raising as much money as they can as part of the CoRUNation!

Why Donate?

Every 14 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with a form of blood cancer.  Cure Leukaemia, with your generosity, fund pioneering clinical trials to provide better treatments now and in the future.  Cure Leukaemia fund the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network across the UK funding specialist nurses and facilitating clinical trials with the aim of eradicating blood cancer within a generation.

These roles form the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network giving patients, from a catchment area of 30m, access to potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials, with plans to fund a paediatric network on the way.
