Cancer takes one person every minute. One life in a moment. They are our brothers, our sisters, our fathers and mothers, our husbands and wives, our best friends, our children, ourselves. For any of you that have experienced or watched a loved one go through the exhausting and devastating moments that cancer causes will understand that time is precious and we have to act sooner rather than later. LETS STANDUP2CANCER TOGETHER.

I am taking part in a charity skydive to raise money for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation, supporting world class cancer treatment throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria.  Effective treatment is a major priority within the NHS but is expensive. There is little left over for non-essential items that may make a difference to a patient’s experience of the treatment process. A few ways in which they achieve this are:

• Funding cutting edge equipment to help clinicians remain at the forefront of the fight against cancer.
• Supporting innovative ways to take the fear out of cancer for patients and their families during their treatment, making it as comfortable and stress free as possible.
• Backing local research projects that help improve our understanding of cancer and how it can be better diagnosed and treated.
• Facilitating top quality training to help clinical staff treating cancer patients be the very best they can be.

Even the smallest donation can help give hope to those loosing faith and  to realise that Cancer is life altering, but not defining.
