H&PS Challenge 2019: Hike Hadrian's Wall, 4 September 2019
We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

Every year Accenture Health & Public Services commits to a charity challenge. This year we are taking on the length of Hadrian's Wall: 84 miles / 135 km in 3 days, roughly a marathon per day.

It's with great sadness that we learnt that one of our colleagues has recently been diagnosed with MND, and so we've chosen to support him to raise awareness of MND and to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. MND prevents signals from your brain from reaching your muscles, causing your body to stiffen and gradually waste. As this is a relatively uncommon disease, it's not often recognized and frequently misdiagnosed. Our fundraising will allow the MNDA to increase the awareness of the disease and promote available training for doctors.

All the money we raise will be going straight to the MND Association, the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland focused on improving access to care, research and campaigning for people living with or affected by MND.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We really appreciate any donation, however small!
