Story

My midlife crisis has begun!  I will be riding in the Newmarket Town Plate on Thursday 7th July, which is 3 miles 6 furlongs... I am now riding out SIX mornings a week Monday to Saturday for Ed Dunlop

i have a horse lent by Paul Webber called Honour A Promise

It is the 350th year of Newmarket being the "Home of Horseracing" and to celebrate we are commissioning a marble resin statue of King Charles II for Newmarket Racecourse from the original statue at The Old Bailey by Henry Weekes made in 1870.(picture below)

King Charles II won The Newmarket Town Plate himself and in 1666  brought a passion for racing to Newmarket and established a new round course of 3 miles 6 furlongs .

350 years on racing is at the heart of Newmarket and established as the Home of Horseracing.
