We are taking part in this year's duathlon (10k run followed by 18k cycle) to raise money for SANDS which is a charity that has recently been a tremendous help to Rog and Fran.  After Charlie was born asleep in October the midwives in the hospital were fantastic and thanks to the cold cot provided by SANDS Rog and Fran were able to spend as much time with Charlie as they needed. The Rainbow Room, which has been completely furnished by SANDS, allowed the family to do so in private and away from the busy maternity ward.  The support SANDS offer to bereaved parents and their families is incredible and, we think, should be more widely recognised.
