As you may know, my Mum was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer in March this year. She is being treated at Charing Cross hospital who are going an amazing job under the direction of Dr Palmieri aka Dr Bossy! :) 

We were first introduced to Maggie's on a visit to Charring Cross hospital. One of the Macmillan nurses suggested we paid it a visit. It's set up to provide support to people affected by cancer.

The reason Maggie's is so great is that it is set up to give people what they need at the time. Whether that is a cup of tea, a chat, some peace and quiet, a hug, some tissues, a piece of cake, a nap, a massage, something to read, a makeover or some advice, it is there.

When I saw that Maggie's were having a fundraising event I jumped at the chance to sign up. There's nothing I can do about my Mum's cancer, but I can help raise money for the people that help support her through it. That's where you come in!
