Story
Chris, Donna, Adrian and James are taking part in Oxfam's Trailtrekker 100km charity walk. This isn't any ordinary stroll. Oh no. It is tough. Very tough. Our team 'Four Past Midnight' have 30 hours to cover a 100km course that climbs more than Ben Nevis and Snowdon put together!
We will be looked after throughout the challenge by our trusty support team (Jo Shannon, Abbie Baggett & Hayley Walker-Smith).
The challenge is the equivalent of walking two and a half marathons back-to-back, non-stop. The course also covers an overall ascent of 2,300m. It starts and ends in Skipton, via the stunning moorland, fells, and valleys of the Yorkshire Dales.
Why are we doing it ? Well, partly because we are a bit nuts, but mostly because we want to raise £2000 for Oxfam to help them to continue to do the great work they do all over the world.
Over the coming weeks we will be updating this page with our training exploits ahead of the challenge that awaits us.
However we can't do this without your support, so please help us get to our target. Your donation (however big or small) will go a long way to help Oxfam fight global poverty and to be there when disasters strike.
Thank you.
Chris, Donna, Adrian and James.
