Story
The Four Fenby Boys are pulling on their walking boots, swim caps, cycling helmets and trainers throughout the summer holidays to take part in different sporting challenges to raise money for The Candlelighters Trust.
Starting on Saturday 14th July, the four boys, aged 16, 14, 12 and 8 years old, will walk to the top of Snowdon, Wales. They hope this will be the first of the UK's Three Peaks that they will tackle during the summer holidays, with plans to tackle Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis before school resumes in September.
On the weekend of 21st and 22nd July they will trade their walking boots for trainers, wheels and swim caps as they all compete in the Castle Tri Series at Castle Howard, North Yorkshire. The youngest boy is particularly nervous about taking part in his first triathlon and is not looking forward to the open water swim section in the lake. The more support that you can all give him, the more likely he is to do it with minimal fuss and a smile.
The younger two boys have become aware of the work and support that The Candlelighters Trust offer through fundraising events at their school and straight away they asked if they could do something at home to help raise more money.
Please support them and give what you can and please leave much needed messages of support to keep them going onwards and upwards.
