Story
Tad Lawrence, a former CSW science teacher who retired in 2019 has committed to donating $1,000 if 35 former faculty and staff join him by making a gift on or before April 9th. Tad is giving this challenge gift in honor of his colleagues incredible teaching and in honor of past students who have profoundly impacted his life. Tad's generosity gives you an opportunity to maximize the impact of your gift made today. Every gift of every size makes a difference!
Tad shared, "Leaving CSW has not dimmed my commitment to the mission or the wonderful school that is CSW. Teaching at CSW allowed me to be challenged and shaped by my students for over 20 years. I hope I made a difference in the lives of some of them, but I know that my students and colleagues helped me grow and learn in ways I never would have imagined. Now, more than ever, excellence, intellectualism, tolerance, nuanced understanding and a passion for the truth is essential and institutions like CSW are critical. While we no longer work at CSW we can and should support all that it strives to achieve."
